Commissioner Elias visited and offered a few words at the opening of the COLD RECALL - Roald Amundsen's reflections from the Northern Passage for the opening of the exhibit.
It's a travelling exhibit from the Fram Museum in Oslo, Norway . It includes some of the earliest photos taken in Nunavut, including Inuit from around the Gjoa Haven area. The exhibition curator Geir Klover from Oslo was also be here for the opening.
